Energy plants: Pennsylvanian Shrub

It is a many years plant and the period of her using values on 15-20 years. Brought to Poland in the fifties.
Important is suitable taking care of the ground in the first year of planting the plant. Young quicksets need properly a lot of light. The ground should be well weeded. In later years the plants are available to protect themselves from weeds.

The sowing can be passed with usual cereal or beet sowing-machines, sowing in April on the depth of 2 cm about 5 kg of sperms on hectare. Stems of the shrub can be up to 4 meters height. There can be used as a wayside-belt , separating and detersive from the less resistant on impurities plants.

Their tillage is mostly used as a energy material. Pennsylvanian Shrub retires in favour of the caloricity to the beechwood only in 20-30%. The thinner stems characterize with a greater heat of combustion.
